We have 3 sizes available 10", 11" and 15". Explore the waterfront path in Kingston or take the free ferry ride over to Wolfe Island and explore Big Sandy Bay beach. We will give you maps for both routes. Helmets and locks included in all rentals

Rental Rates

  • Hourly: $8
  • Full Day: $40
  • 2-4 Days: $35 /Day
  • 5-7 Days: $30 /Day
  • 8+ Days: $25 /Day

Prices includes HST, lock and helmet.

Last rental out is 1 Hour before close.

Hourly Rentals: Minimum one hour rental, additional hours rounded to the nearest 15 minute interval. Please note that your rental will be held for up to a maximum of 15 mins past your scheduled start time, after which it will be redistributed to customers as demand permits.

Full Day & Multi Day Rentals: Start time is our opening for that day, with return by close of that day or by open on the following day. Bikes must be locked up inside overnight. Bikes left outside have a high risk of being stolen for which you will be liable. This will cost you at least $300, depending on the model.

Refund and Cancellation Policy

Hourly Rentals: Reservations are not required, but recommended, walk ins welcome. You do not need to make any form of payment to reserve, we will hold your reservation for 15 minutes from your start time, please arrive 10 minutes before your booking.

Full Day & Multi Day Rentals: Reservations required, full payment via our online reservations system. No refunds for cancellations within 48 hours, a 25% fee will be applied to cancellations greater than 48 hours. On site rentals will be cancelled if weather conditions are unsafe for paddling. In this case, full refunds will be given.

Returns Policy

Return Policy: Please proceed to building after your return to check out and
pay for your rental by the end time of your booking. If you return early you will only pay for the time used. Late returns will incur an additional $25 fee.

Sailing Charters

Have you ever imagined what it would be like to be on one of those sailboats gliding along Kingston’s waterfront? The view of beautiful, historic Kingston from the water is a wonderfully unique, exciting perspective.

Climb aboard this lovely 26' sailing sloop and let your skipper take you on a personalized sailing tour of Kingston's historic waterfront and see why this city is known as the "freshwater sailing capital" of Canada. No sailing experience required, group sizes up to 5 maximum.  We can often fit a 6th person, so give us a call.

The vessel used for all of our sailing charters is a 26-foot sailing sloop named Pommie Bee. This solid vessel makes sailing comfortable in all conditions. Lots of deck space for you to sit up forward on the boat and enjoy the sound of the wind and waves.

Your reserved charter is your own personal outing; no other passengers will join you. The experience is of your own making; you can let your skipper do all the work, or you can pull a few ropes or even steer the boat a little under the watchful eyes of your captain.

Available May 16 - October 4, 2026.

Daily 10am to 6pm.

Group size up to 5. Slightly larger groups can be accomodated, please contact us.

$120 - 1 Hour
$210 - 2 Hours
$275 - 3 Hours
$400 - 4 Hours
$650 - Full Day (10 am to 6pm)

Price is for your group, maximum 5 passengers

Reservation and Cancellation Policy

Hourly Charters: No pre-payment required to book, payment due on the day of your charter, online or at our business location, plan on getting here 15 minutes before departure time.

Full Day Charters:  Full payment required to book.  Cancellations greater than 48 hours before departure time will incur a 25% fee.  No refunds for cancellations within 48 hours.

If the weather is not looking safe for sailing, (Thunderstorms or winds above 20 knots), we will contact you on the day and let you know. No cancelation fee will apply.  Sailing will still happen in light rain.  No refunds once payment is made, unless Ahoy Rentals cancels due to safety concerns

Our 15' 3" Beaufort Touring Kayaks have a large cockpit suited for tall paddlers giving extra legroom. Complete with foot controlled rudder system, this kayak tracks well and is fast through the water. Storage compartments fore and aft.
