This boat is designed for all types of sailors. It is easy to sail, and is a very comfortable and stable catamaran. A large, fully-battened mainsail (no boom) provides plenty of power without being complicated. The Hobie Wave will move fast in a breeze, but will never feel unstable. It’s easy enough for one person to handle on a windy day, or to take out with a couple of friends.

1 experienced sailor require to rent this boat. Maximum wind speed in which we allow this boat out is 15 Knots, including gusts.

Rental Rates

    • $45 Hourly, 1 hour minimum.
    • Full Day: $180 (over 4 hours).

    Hourly Reservations: Payment required for the first hour. Check wind forecast prior to any booking, we do not allow our sailboats out in wind strength above 15 knots. Please arrive 15 minutes before your booking, we will have your boat rigged and ready to go.

    Full Day Reservations: Full payment required to book.

    Refund and Cancellation Policy

    Reservations required, full payment via our online reservations system. No refunds for cancellations within 48 hours, a 25% fee will be applied to cancellations greater than 48 hours. On site rentals will be cancelled if weather conditions are unsafe for paddling. In this case, full refunds will be given.

    Scenic Kingston Waterfront Pathway

    Picnic and SailPicnic and Sail

    Have you ever imagined what it would be like to be on one of those sailboats gliding along Kingston’s waterfront? The view of beautiful, historic Kingston from the water is a wonderfully unique, exciting perspective.

    The vessel used for all of our sailing charters is a 26-foot sailing sloop named Pommie Bee. This solid vessel makes sailing comfortable in all conditions. Lots of deck space for you to sit up forward on the boat and enjoy the sound of the wind and waves.

    Your reserved charter is your own personal outing; no other passengers will join you. The experience is of your own making; you can let your skipper do all the work, or you can pull a few ropes or even steer the boat a little under the watchful eyes of your captain.

    Customers will be taken out for a three-hour sail, including a stop at an island, or eating aboard or at anchor; the choice is yours. Food prepared by Pan Chancho local bakery.

    Departure Times: Weekends ONLY. Weekends 11am & 2:30pm. Please allow 48 hours advance notice to order food.

    2 to 3 Passengers: $190 per Adult, $55 per Child (under 12)

    4 to 5 Passengers: $125 per Adult, $55 per Child (under 12)

    Prices includes, food, charter for 3 hours.
